Brett Agee
Shareholder Attorney
Brett has practiced law with the firm since his graduation from law school in 1988. He has tried cases in Colorado and various counties in Oklahoma. Brett's community involvement includes past or present service as a board member of the Pauls Valley Planning and Zoning Commission, Pauls Valley Public Schools, Pauls Valley Rotary Club, Main Street Pauls Valley, and the Pauls Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Brett is also a member and former director of the Oklahoma Association for Justice, which presented him with the Member of the Year Award in 2005. Brett has taught continuing legal education courses for lawyers on the subject of civil procedure and developments in tort law.
In 2015, Brett was recognized by Martindale-Hubbell as a "Top Rated Lawyer in Litigation."

James W. Carlton, Jr.

James (Jay) has practiced law with the firm since his graduation from law school in 1988. Jay is a Certified Public Accountant whose law practice focuses on estate planning, probates, and real estate matters, oil and gas transactions, and municipal law. Samuel K. Davis

Sam will graduate from the University of Oklahoma School of Law as part of the class of 2022. He began practicing with Garvin Agee Carlton, P.C., as a licensed legal intern during his third year at law school and will continue as an associate attorney after graduation. Sam’s primary areas of practice include estate planning and real estate transactions, as well as corporate/entity formation, transactions, and maintenance. He also assists in many areas of litigation.

Jacob Yturri
Licensed Legal Intern
Jacob (“Jake”) Yturri is a third-year law student at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Jacob joined the firm in September of 2021 as a litigation law clerk.
While in law school, Jacob accumulated numerous accolades for scholastic achievement such as the American Jurisprudence Award in Contracts and has been recognized as a Dean’s List Scholar every semester. Jacob is also a member of OU’s American Indian Law Review and the Oklahoma Federal Bar Association.
Before attending the University of Oklahoma College of Law, Jacob received a B.B.A. from Texas A&M’s May Business School.
